'Kays paintings are bespoke images honing in on the natural environment and the energy surrounding and connecting all things. Parts of the images are made up from the imagination. I like mixing the abstract world of patterns and symbols into the backgrounds of birds and animals to create a fantasy, playful world in which anything is possible'.
